About
IID's
The ignition interlock model is a small electronic handheld device wired into the ignition system that does not obstruct your normal operations, and is compatible with any vehicle. It records and logs all events and has an easy-to-read display that is simple to use.
The device requires the driver to take and pass a test that screens for breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) before starting the car. If the driver does not have an acceptable BrAC, the car will not start. If it is, the individual will be able to proceed as normal.
To ensure drinking and driving does not occur, rolling re-tests are administered at random intervals which can be safely done while driving. If the driver feels more comfortable pulling over, our device has a 5 minute window in which the rolling re-test can be completed.
We utilize the best technology in our equipment. This means no false readings, no extra charges for resets, and no unnecessary trips to the service provider because of faulty equipment.
